How to track protein intake
Hitting a protein goal is mostly about seeing where you are during the day. Here's the simplest way to do it.
Set a daily goal
Use about 1.6–2.2 g per kg of body weight, depending on your goal. The protein calculator gives you a number in seconds.
Log protein as you eat
Take a photo of each meal: C for Calories shows protein per food, so you know which part of the meal is doing the work. Scan barcodes for protein bars and shakes.
Check in before dinner
Look at protein left in the afternoon. If you're 50 g short, dinner needs a big protein portion, or add a snack like Greek yogurt.
Repeat what works
Save high-protein meals as favorites. They show calories and protein on the home screen, so planning the day becomes quick.
